To accomplish common learning objectives, collaborative learning places an important value on learners' involvement, communication, and cooperation. In cooperative learning settings, students collaborate in teams or groups to accomplish assignments, resolve issues, have discussions, and build knowledge via group inquiry and social interaction.

Integration of Collaborative Learning in Digital Environments 

In the context of digitalization, several types of digital tools and platforms that support both online and offline interaction, teamwork, and knowledge exchange among learners can be used to support collaborative learning. Learners can participate in collaborative learning activities regardless of time or location with the help of online discussion forums, social media platforms, video conferencing software, collaborative document editing tools, and virtual teamwork spaces.

Kwiatkowska and Nogaj (2022) have stated that , Collaboration is considered to be the highest level of group work, in which participants work together to solve a problem. Collaboration processes are increasingly supported by Information and Communication Technology. The use of digital technologies can improve the quality of the learning experiences if they are use.
